Is it summer yet??

I don't know about the rest of ya'll but I"m SOOOOOO ready for it to be summer!

WHY AM i so excited for summer do you ask? Well maybe this is why:

Could it be partying at Lake powell and stuffing our faces with soft serve ice cream at the dock?

Could it be going rediculously fast in our 3 man tube and listening to Kens cackel hysterically out of sheer enjoyment?

Could it be hopefully getting my liscense and pimpin the cruiser up and driving it to school next year?

Could it be YCL'ing at Girls camp this year???

Or could it be the fact that I'm gonna party in Musical theater Workshop at Mcc with some of my dearest loves in less than five weeks??

Wherever I go to beat the heat...

There's NO DOUBT that this summer's gonna ROCK MY SOX!!!!!! :]

CHAMBER!

So this week I auditioned and made the top ensemble at Mesa called the Chamber Singer's ! I'm way excited! :]

Hello!

So if anyone believes in still reading my blog...i'm sorry for my absence of posting! but i must tell you that i wasn't just sitting on my booty like a lazy bum while offline...but I've been spending a lot of time writing music for my guitar. It's one of the greatest feelings in the world, and I LOVE doing it. :] Ever since I've gotten this sassy lil puppy for christmas.....

aka the love of my life aka MY GUITAR I've written 5 songs. If i'm lucky ..maybe I'll cut a record deal someday! :]

MORP!!

So this weekend we had MORP and I went with my very good friend Dan Dan! It was Sooo dang fun! The theme was gettin' down to business and you had to dress up like your favorite career...so can you guess what we dressed up as?? Well, we went as the GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!!! Daniel came up with the idea and it is probably the best costume I've ever worn to anything! :]


Haha I loved the costumes we came up with! Don't we look so intense? Haha we had jumpsuits and sweet boots and toolbelts with silly string and Dan made his own ghostbuster backpack! He literally attached car parts and hoses to it! But the best part of all is he attached speakers to it and had his ipod so that we could play our theme song!!! It was awesome!!! Here's a better view of the backpack...it was so cool! :] So now I shall introduce you to the people in my group..these two went as the MAFFIA!

Haha so THESE TWO went as robots from the future! But first I must tell you that there is a story behind this costume. So back in the days when I was in charlie brown at Mesa I played the tree in one song. And for that song these two gave me the inspiration to wear a cardboard tube for the base of my tree ( like the bark and stuff) so anyways, during that show we three decided they should go to morp in the same type of getup. So they did! They were my heroes for the night.

We also had NINJAS! (dont mess with the masters! Hi-ya!)

I dink she saw a ghost or sumfin! (good ding dey got da ghostbusters around! :])

And last but not least we had two fishermen! Don't you love their matching lil vests?

For dinner we all made our own pizzas! Isn't ours cute? We made a lil pepperoni n' olive heart!
Also for our day activity we went to the batting cages! (I couldn't really hit a ball tho! ;] ) but that's okay. Here's a vid of a really cute robot trying to bat in her cardboard tube!

All in all MORP was the most fun I've had in a long time. I'm so thankful for my friends who are always willing to just kick back and be so dang goofy with me! Life is too short to care what people think..so I'm gonna live it up while I can! :]
